Dear Future Me: A Warrior’s Vision for 2025
Dear Future Me,
It’s the start of a new year, and I’m writing this with so much hope in my heart. I don’t know what this year will hold for us, but I do know one thing: we’re stepping into it with intention and a sense of purpose.
2024 had its highs and lows, didn’t it? There were moments when we felt unstoppable and others when the weight of it all felt like too much. But here we are—still standing, still fighting, still growing. I’m proud of that. I hope you still carry that same pride, no matter what this year brings.
Happy New Year, Warrior!

Happy New Year, Warrior! 🎉♥️
This letter is a reminder of what matters most as we continue this journey:
Listen to Your Body. I know how easy it is to push through the pain, to ignore the signs because you feel like you have to keep going. But, please, take care of yourself. Rest when you need to. Honor what your body is telling you. You’ve learned the hard way that you can’t pour from an empty cup.
Stay Connected to Love. The people who see you, truly see you, are your safe place. Lean into those relationships—your husband, your kids, your community. Let their love be your anchor when the storms come.
Keep Dreaming Boldly. Remember the plans we dreamed up late at night? The ones that felt too big, too bold? Keep chasing them. Even if the path isn’t clear, trust that each step forward will bring you closer to something beautiful.
Future Me, don’t forget the importance of rest—not just for your body but for your soul. Life can feel relentless sometimes, especially when you’re juggling motherhood, advocacy, and your own health. Take time to breathe, to reflect, to simply be.
I wonder how you’ll feel reading this at the end of the year. Will you have checked off all those goals? Or maybe the year brought surprises we couldn’t have planned for. Either way, I hope you’re proud. Proud of how far you’ve come, proud of how much you’ve given to others, and proud of how you’ve stayed true to yourself.
You’ve survived so much, and because of that, I know you’ll thrive in 2025. So here’s to a year of grace, growth, and maybe even a little magic.
With love and hope,
Me
